Cd no 5 is played by Djono Walch.
He has searched well-known pieces of great composers which pieces are arranged
for the ballet class. It is a beautiful cd, warmly played! All pieces have been
tried out in practice (Rotterdam Dance Academy)! Really it's a "wanna
have".

Djono, born in Rotterdam, started playing the piano
at the age of seven. He began his musical studies with Elizabeth van Malde, a
dedicated and known piano accompanist. He continued his education in Utrecht,
studying musicology at the University of Utrecht, and piano as a principal
subject at the Utrecht Conservatory with Herman Uhlhorn. At the conclusion of
these studies he was awarded both a master degree and the diploma "Docerend
Musicus".

After his education he combined
working as a piano teacher with several performance activities. In 1994 he
started working as a ballet accompanist. Since 1997, Djono has worked as a
musical accompanist at the Rotterdam Dance Academy, accompanying academical
(classical ballet), modern and improvisation lessons .
